Majored in Agricultural Engineering at Technical University of Lisbon.

Started working on turfgrass and golf courses at Penina Golf Hotel Golf Course as Assistant Greenkeeper in 2002 and from then on other several golf courses of Pestana Group as Head Supervisor (Pestana Gramacho, Pestana Silves Golf, Pestana Vale da Pinta and now Pestana Alto Golf), managing different species and cultivars of cool and warm season grasses in the Algarve, south of Portugal.
